RESMED VPAP™ S

VPAP S is a pressure support device ideal for patients with respiratory insufficiency or obstructive sleep apnea, for use in the hospital or home.

Bilevel therapy works by delivering two different levels of positive air pressure
1. A higher level of pressure when you breathe in
2. A lower level of pressure when you breathe out

Although both are non-invasive, Bilevel and CPAP therapy differ in two significant ways:
1. Bilevel devices deliver two levels of air pressure that are set to coincide with the patient’s inspiratory (inhaling) and expiratory (exhaling) efforts
2. Bilevel therapy can be used to treat conditions other than sleep apnea (OSA) and is the first line of treatment for a wide-range of respiratory disorders

RESMED VPAP™ ST with IVAPs

VPAP ST is a standard, cost-effective, quiet and compact non-invasive ventilator for non-dependent patients who need the security of a backup rate and a maximum pressure of 25 cm H20. With the new iVAPS mode (intelligent Volume-Assured Pressure Support), setting up patients and treating their changing respiratory needs has just become a whole lot easier.

This NIV ventilator helps treat non-dependent patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Obesity Hypoventilation Syndrome (OHS), Neuromuscular Disease (NMD), and other conditions.

Modes: CPAP, Spontaneous (S), Timed (T), Spontaneous/Timed (ST), iVAPS (intelligent Volume-Assured Pressure Support), PAC (Pressure Assist Control).

• Now with iVAPS (intelligent Volume-Assured Pressure Support) therapy mode
• Advanced humidification and Climate Control
• Easy-Breathe motor helps meet patient needs quickly and quietly
• Easy-to-use controls and colour LCD make menu navigation simple and intuitive
• Exceptionally slim and lightweight tubes
• Extra assurance through a backup rate
• Quick and easy to set up

RESMED VPAP™ Adapt SV

VPAP™ Adapt SV is an adaptive-servo ventilator (ASV) designed specifically to treat Central Sleep Apnea in all its forms, including mixed events.

The VPAP Adapt is ResMed’s most responsive ASV technology to stabilise the ventilation of adult patients exhibiting central breathing disorders such as Cheyne-Stokes respiration (associated with congestive heart failure), central sleep apnea, complex sleep apnea and mixed apnea with or without upper airway obstruction.

The only ASV therapy to target the patient’s own recent minute ventilation (MV). PaceWave monitors the entire breath with split-second resolution to learn and predict a patient’s unique breathing pattern, rapidly responding to changes and steadily keeping your patient on target throughout the night.
